Been a while since my last blog so I thought I'd add a few words before going to today's wedding. It is Bridget and Ricky's turn today, like so many, a wedding rearranged due to Covid, so will be good to finally capture their wedding day. Over the last couple of months it's been really busy, taking photos mainly for weddings, but also a birthday for a very special 91 year old, my best mate's grandma, Barbara.
Recent weddings have included a couple at Burton Registry Office, for Jade and Gav and then Larraine and Matt. I've had weddings at Hartshorne Church and Melbourne View, Dovecliff Hall and the Riverside. I would like to thank Chloe and Chris, Kay and Paul and Emma and Simon for trusting me with their special days. Other venues were Pride Park, Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel and The Brewery Centre. Thanks also to Kath and Simon, Bev and Graham and Sarah and Rich. All lovely weddings and with so many great memories. Last week a new venue for me at Coalville Registry Office for Jade and Nat. They chose Mount St Bernard Abbey for their photos and the backdrops were fabulous. Here are a few photos from the recent weddings:
The thing I love most (and I know I say this a lot) is the feedback. It is so humbling but lovely what people say. So thanks to all my couples so far this year and I look forward to the next few weddings which include visits to Burton, Lichfield, Branston and Derby.
As always, thanks for reading, Paul.
